"Dr. Michel is patient, non-judge mental, and she has taught me to make my health a priority. She is a confidant. I know that I can share anything with her without being embarrassed. She’s a great teacher. When she takes off her “doctor hat” and puts on her “mommy hat”, I know she is genuine and wants to keep me safe".

"Since I decided to select Dr. Michel as my OBGYN, I have been blessed to have a relationship with someone that is so passionate about her job. What is extra special about Dr. Michel is she taught me a lot about coming into puberty and self love. She is a great teacher because she explains things in a way that makes it easy to understand. She is loving, supportive, and inspires me to achieve greatness. She is an amazing role model
"Dr. Michel is not your average doctor. I have been her patient for over 10 years. She stays current with today’s research and she listens to her patients. I trust her medical advice and surgical expertise. Her book will definitely be a blessing to the community!"
Meet Dr. Suleika Michel
Dr. Suleika Just-Buddy Michel is a board-certified obstetrician gynecologist with over twenty years of experience whose ministry is educating females about their bodies. As the first African American partner in her OBGYN practice, she is a well-respected advocate of minimally invasive surgery and is a trained DaVinci robotic surgeon. Inspired by her mother, who was a registered nurse, Dr. Michel always knew she wanted to enter the medical field. She is the first physician in her family.
After realizing many Christian schools had no formal health education for students, Dr. Michel decided to create a faith-based health curriculum specifically for preteen and teen girls in fifth through twelfth grade. She holds seminars for schools, churches, conferences and other teen organizations discussing female health through a biblical lens. Although she is medically trained to address female health concerns from puberty through seasoned adult years, her passion is providing a safe space for girls to be educated with age-appropriate information about their bodies.
